18th WTQA Wushu Tai Chi & Qigong Festival

Another fantastic day at the festival!

We came home with 25 medals this year – divided up as below… Well done to all of you! Great to see you out there having a go but even more encouraging to see you all putting in the extra time & improving your tai chi with the extra practice.

Remember it is an open invitation to all students to come along to the Sunday morning practice sessions when they’re held. It’s an opportunity to develop your movements & bring depth & substance to your forms. Next year, I hope to see more of your shiny faces at the hall…!

Karen, Paul, Michael & Megan all entered individual events again this year with great results. They held their own in a tough event! This year all traditional styles were grouped together under one age group, competing against some of the most experienced practitioners in Australia. Megan & Michael should be very proud of their bronze medals!
